ABOUT ME
Welcome! My journey to becoming a therapist was a complicated one, though it didn't need to be. From a young age I told my parents I was going to grow up to be a therapist. However I knew that would take time and in my young adulthood my adventurous side got the best of me and took me on the scenic route, quite literally.

After working in the outdoor-adventure world for some time, and feeling the pull between adventure and desk, I found myself combining my two loves - the outdoors and psychology - in the work that I was putting out, and ultimately, it has led me to here.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist through the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I hold two post-secondary degrees as well as a master of arts in counselling psychology through Yorkville University. In addition to my clinical practice I am a Registered Yoga Teacher, focusing on mindfulness through movement and breath; and yes, on my days off you can find me outside somewhere, soaking up all the fresh air that I can.

I've been working with the psyche of individuals since 2014, both clinically and experientially. As part of my practice and philosophy I focus on connection, attachment, and inner narratives of each individual. Having worked therapeutically in out-patient, residential, and wilderness settings I've witnessed the impact connection can provide in both healing and coping. I strive to bring that into our work together using a trauma-informed and evidence-based treatment approach.
